Frequently Asked Questions
How does Confetti: Time Saver work?
Confetti: Time Saver adds a brief pause before you can open apps you've configured. During this pause, you'll see a screen that gives you a moment to think about whether you really want to use the app right now. It's designed to break the automatic habit of opening apps mindlessly.
How much does Confetti: Time Saver cost?
Confetti: Time Saver offers a 7-day free trial so you can try all features with no commitment. After the trial, you can choose from affordable monthly or yearly subscription options. We believe in keeping digital wellness tools accessible while ensuring we can continue improving the app.
Can I customize which apps have a pause?
Absolutely! You can choose specific apps or entire app categories to add a pause to.
Does Confetti: Time Saver track my app usage data?
No, Confetti: Time Saver does not track or store your personal app usage data. It works with iOS Screen Time API to function, but all data stays on your device. We don't see what apps you use or how long you use them.
Can I bypass the pause?
Yes, you can always choose to continue to the app after the pause. Confetti: Time Saver isn't about blocking apps entirely. It's about giving you a moment to make a conscious choice about your app usage.
Can I see how much time I've saved?
Yes! Confetti: Time Saver includes a stats screen where you can track the time you've saved by choosing not to open apps after seeing the pause screen. It's a great way to visualize your progress and stay motivated.
I'm having trouble setting up Confetti: Time Saver. Where can I get help?

Does Confetti: Time Saver work on websites?
Confetti: Time Saver's website functionality is currently limited to Safari on iPhone. If you've configured an app in Confetti: Time Saver but not its associated website, visiting that website in Safari will show Apple's default "restricted" page. To see the Confetti: Time Saver prompt when visiting a website of a configured app, you'll need to add that website to your Confetti: Time Saver settings as well.
Why do I need to allow notifications for Confetti: Time Saver?
Confetti: Time Saver uses notifications to guide you through the breathing exercise. When you tap "Yes" on the Confetti: Time Saver shield, you should immediately see a "Tap to Continue" notification that takes you to the app. If you don't see this notification, check these common causes:
- Your phone might be in a Focus mode (like Sleep mode) that blocks notifications. You can fix this by editing your Focus mode settings and adding Confetti: Time Saver as an allowed app.
- You may not have granted Confetti: Time Saver permission to send notifications. Go to Settings > Confetti: Time Saver > Notifications and make sure it's enabled.
Don't worry - Confetti: Time Saver only sends silent notifications to function properly and won't send any unnecessary or distracting alerts.
What happens if I unsubscribe and then resubscribe?
If you unsubscribe, you'll lose your saved time estimate. When you resubscribe, you'll need to reconfigure your app settings by opening the configured apps page and tapping save to re-enable your pauses.
